PQP Graduates

The information in this section applies to you if you have completed the Professional Qualification Program (PQP) at Simon Fraser University and are now ready to request your Ministry of Education public school teaching certificate.

SFU will automatically send your transcripts to us once they have compiled your marks.

You will need to send us all of the other documents for your application, including:

• an updated Application for Teacher’s Certificate of Qualification form
• a new Consent to a Criminal Record Check form
• two new Confidential Character Reference for Authorization to Teach in British Columbia forms
• final practicum reports from both your school associate and faculty associate
• documents for any of your other outstanding requirements, such as the results of a language proficiency test
• $175 (to cover the $20 criminal record check fee, the $75 certificate fee and the $80 annual practice fee).
